it's kblicious! and good for you too!
Who is KB, you ask? Me, silly! Welcome to my humble little blog on the web, in which you are invited to delve into my knitting (and occasional spinning) endeavors (and some other junk too.) Enjoy your stay, have some tea (jasmine or earl grey?) and say hi! :) Thanks for stopping by!
I dyed
Thanx once again to Crafty Grrrrl divine and her awesome show (<3>

P.S. I am officially sticking with throwing, for now anyway. ;-)
P.S.P.S. Two things. First, I failed to make a big visible knot for my ends. Does this blow? YES. Secondly, now that I have rolled the first one, it IS phreakin phabulous. The variegation is just gorgeous and the greens are just delicious (pic doesn't do it justice anyway, my camera rots). YAY me.
Look what I can do!
FINALLY, I have successfuly worked on DPNs smaller than huge. I actually had ladders on the 13s, but this, beautimous. I'm totally geeked out about it, the possibilities are endless. In the background, you see Bubby from this issue of Knitty, whom I owe gratitude for the DPN efforts (and Vanessa too!) The pattern called for 3s, but alas, my fat fingers didn't agree, so I went with a chunky and upped it to 7s and voila! I'm already up to the head! LOVE this pattern. AND if that wasn't enough, just 24 hours prior to the DPN success, I knit Continental! YAY! For whatever reason, now and again the Continental thing clicks for me, but it quickly disappears. I think I'm there again, but at least briefly I was flying Continental. I caught a glimpse of that Knitty Gritty episode where the guest chick is all, Vickie, silly thrower, I knit continental so I can finish more than one thing a season and I'm all, ew . Needless to say, her little jab inspired me. I still like throwing better.
ANYWAY. Work avoidance scheme #482 complete.
