hi again... just really quick, i have not read ANYONE's blog in I don't know how long, can't even remember the last time I did a quick skim, I am SO SORRY!!!! I am definitely in some kind of a crafty.... how do you say... slump. I haven't picked up the needles in at least a week, maybe even two, I can't even remember... yeah, it's that bad. but i miss you guys and a big thank you to those of you who have stuck with me, it really makes me feel special. ((((((HUGS)))))

Just real quickly, though, I got some wonderful news, for those of you that haven't heard yet, and this is belated news because I suck, but one of our fellow KH'ers/bloggers, Becka is now featured as a designer on the still new, yet quickly beloved Ravelry. Check out her page here For those of you that don't have an invite yet, I am so sorry, but it is worth the wait, I promise, and the super great news is you don't have to be a member to check out our Becka's stuff! See "featured designs" toward the bottom right. Congratulations to you, Becka, and once again, I am SO THRILLED for you!!!!

I STILL haven't finished my Sockapalooza 4 socks... shoot me. Thankfully, I have a wonderfully patient sock pal who is super cool, which is making kntiting them way more enjoyable when I actually knit. The lovely and amazingly efficient Alison who is running it let me know that there were almost 150 people still not reported as complete, which made me feel WAY better. And hi, secret sock pal!!!! :) That is all I am focusing on right now really except when I am somewhere where I can't concentrate on the pattern. I work on Kenobi then and I am almost done with the armhole shaping on the back! YAY!

And that's about it... OH! except my new hair! Totally not crafty, but check it! I LOVE it! Hope you do too! :)

i can't post these without briefly explaining the "attack of the gayface" shot with the sunglasses on. I saw this picture at Perez Hilton and brought it to my hairdresser and she kept it and asked me to send her shots of me for her portfolio:

obviously, he weighs about 3 small children less than me, but i really loved it and had to have it. unfortunately, when i searched for more pictures of his hair so i could see the back and stuff, i discovered he was a porn star and male prostitute before becoming marc jacobs' boyfriend, and found only pictures of his unmentionables... (le sigh) the magical world of the internet. are they mentionables now that i've mentioned them? they should remain unmentionable... can you believe he got that tummy tattoo in honor of the mariah, like mimi carey, or whatever she is going by these days and he's proud of that mess? could there be anything gayer? like ever? damn. not one, but TWO peoples' names permanently marked into his flesh... brave boy. anyway, so i couldn't find his hair, so me and my hair doctor improvised. i don't think i have EVER been happier with a haircut in my entire life, although the red is fading super fast. we've decided i'm going to stick with this coif for a while just changing the accent color each time. next is blue we think. :)

and a big shout out to my dear mommy, who turns 73 today! yeah, she's that old for real! don't try to guess my age based on that because a) you'll be wrong and b) i'll be mad. :) i was an accident... miracle... depends on what day you ask. no blog to link to for the mamila, but please feel free to telepathically send her birthday wishes!!! she actually liked the gift i sent, which was super cool and totally new, she gives me back EVERYTHING.

i am partly ashamed to say that i was terribly amused by this at first, but now not so much.... if anyone happens to know this girl, can you please tell her i said that 'hi' and i love her for the wonderful being that she is, she's gorgeous, and her worth is NOT based on a pageant performance. kthx.

oh yeah, if anyone is as enormous of a eugene levy/christopher guest/jennifer coolidge fan, you MUST watch this, it is TOOOO freakin funny, i wet myself.
